Registration Information
Basketball fee is $75 per team member and due at time of registration. This fee will include the Basketball Shooting events(free throw and 3-point) for all registered.
Ohio Senior Olympics 2026 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.
T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size.
Registration closes on August 27, 2026, at midnight.
Each team captain will submit a roster to Ohio Senior Olympics by September 4, 2026. An official roster will be sent to each captain to be completed.
Team rosters shall be limited to ten persons, including non-playing coaches, non-playing captains and nonplaying bench personnel.
Tournament Information
The tournament format will be determined by the total number of registered players/teams in each age bracket.
The tournament format will be posted on the website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes on September 12, 2026.

Competition Information
The competition format will be determined by the total number of registered athletes in each age bracket.
The competition will begin with Free Throw Shooting and will be followed by the 3 - Point Shooting.
Balls provided.
Athlete Check In Opens at 8am. Warmups for the shooting skills will be offered until 8:55am.
Basketball Shooting skills will be first - Free throw event begins at 9am followed by the 3 point event. Awards will be given out after both events are completed.

Withdrawals and no-shows will negatively impact brackets and heats.
Absolutely no day of event registration permitted.
ALL athletes competing in the Ohio Senior Olympics (OSO) are expected to read and comply with the: Athlete Code of Conduct and State Competition Protest Policy
All rules, policies, and the code of conduct can be found in the ‘About OSO and FAQ’ section. Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.
