Registration Information

  • Track and Field fee for 2025 is $70 due at the time of registration. This fee includes all track and field throwing, running, and walking events.

  • Ohio Senior Olympics 2025 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.

  • T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size.

  • Registration will close on May 31, 2025, at midnight.

Field Events – Friday, June 13

  • Throwing Events at Westerville Central HS - discus, javelin, shot put (check-in 8AM, competition begins 9AM)

  • Jumping Events at Westerville Central HS - long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault (check-in 8AM, competition 9AM)

Competition Information

  • Check-in begins at 8:00am.

  • Events begin at 9:00am. Schedules will be provided.

  • Event order will be posted after registration closes and competition numbers have been determined.

  • No warming up on throwing vectors without officials present.

  • There are no open pits. You must be present when your flight is throwing.

  • No ‘make-ups’ will be permitted.

  • Each athlete will be allowed three official throws.

  • OSO will supply the javelin, shot put and disc.

  • The heat sheets/schedules will be posted on our website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes prior to the competition.

Running and Walking Events - Saturday, June 14

  • Check in begins at 8:00am.

  • Events begin at 9:00am and will follow a rolling schedule.

  • You must be present when your heat or event is happening. No ‘make ups’ will be permitted.

  • The heat sheets will be posted on our website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes prior to the competition.

  • Athletes must supply their own starting blocks if they choose to use them.

  • The 4x100 Relay is THE ONLY event you can add during the day of the race.  There will be sign-up sheets located at the check-in table.  Your team must be formed and reported by the conclusion of the Men’s 100M Dash.

  *Must have 4x100 teams submitted to check-in table

Medal Ceremony

·         The medal ceremony will take place after the completion of the event and scores have been calculated. 

·         Must be present to receive medals. Medals will not be mailed.

Qualifying for National Senior Games

  • 2025 is a non-qualifying year.

OSO Athlete Information

  • All details and events are subject to change based on registration numbers, weather conditions, venue availability, and other reasons. 

  • Withdrawals and no shows will negatively impact brackets and heats.  

  • Absolutely no day-of registration is permissible.

  • Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.
