Registration Information

  • Pickleball fee for 2025 is $75 due at time of registration.  This includes all events: Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

  • Ohio Senior Olympics 2025 dri-fit t-shirts are optional for an additional fee of $15. Sizes are unisex.

  • T-shirts will be preordered during registration, please indicate t-shirt size.

  • Registration closes August 15, 2025, at midnight.

·         It is hard for us to determine the exact days for events this early in the registration process.  We are evaluating the registration each week to try and update all sporting event schedules.   When we post a new tentative schedule, it will have the date beside it to let you know when it has been updated.                             

·         September 5, 2025 – Men’s Singles and Women’s Doubles

·         September 6, 2025 – Women’s Singles and Men’s Doubles

·         September 7, 2025 – Mixed Doubles

·         This schedule will be subject to registration. Updates will be coming closer to the events.

Tournament Information

  • This competition WILL be held OUTDOORS.  Please plan accordingly.

  • Athletes will compete in skill levels:

    • 3.0 – 3.4

    • 3.5 - 3.9

    • 4.0 - 4.4

    • 4.5 and up

  • We will be using DUPR ratings and submitting results to DUPR in 2025.  We will be checking DUPR ratings and move you to a higher skill level if your rating is higher than when you registered. 

  • If you believe your rating is incorrect you must appeal to DUPR before 8/15/2025.

  • DUPR ID # - Your DUPR ID # will be found on your ‘MY DUPR” page.  It is 6 characters long.  ‘Example only – MX03R2’

  • Check-in begins and courts open for warm up at 7:00am every day.

  • The tournament begins at 8:00am every day.

  • The tournament format will be determined by total number of registered players/teams in each age bracket. 

  • Format will be posted on the website, and an email will be sent to all registered athletes prior to the competition.

  • Field size for each age group and ranking division will be limited to 24 athletes/teams.

  • Athletes may compete with one partner per event. Doubles and mixed doubles are considered events, therefore athletes may not compete in more than one age division for doubles or mixed doubles.

  • The age division for competition for doubles and mixed doubles will be determined by the age of the younger partner as of December 31, 2025. Your age group will be adjusted once both partners are registered. 

  • Doubles and Mixed Doubles

    • Each athlete must register with a named partner, both partners must name each other at time of registration.

    • Registering without a partner does not secure a spot in the tournament.

    • Athletes are responsible for ensuring their partner registers.

Medal Ceremony

·         The medal ceremony will take place after the completion of the event and scores have been calculated.

·         Must be present to receive medals. Medals will not be mailed.

Qualifying for National Senior Games

  • 2025 is a non-qualifying year.

OSO Athlete Information

  • All details and events are subject to change based on registration numbers, weather conditions, venue availability, and other reasons. 

  • Withdrawals and no shows will negatively impact brackets and heats.

  • Absolutely no day-of registration is permissible.

  • Athletes should know and understand the rules specific to their sport. The OSO uses the rule book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body.
